While standard tools run completely in your browser, advanced capabilities require external AI processing. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use AI features.
1. External Data Transmission
Tools marked with the AI Processing badge require sending document text to external AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) to generate intelligent responses, summaries, or analyses. We only extract and transmit the necessary text/data, not your original file. Data is transmitted securely via TLS encryption.
2. Informed Consent
We will never send your data to an external AI service without your explicit permission. Before you use an AI feature for the first time, you will be prompted with a Privacy Notice. You can choose to remember your consent, and you can revoke it at any time from your account settings.
3. Enterprise AI Providers
We utilize enterprise-grade APIs from our AI providers. Under these enterprise agreements, the providers are strictly prohibited from using your data to train their models. Data is not retained by them longer than necessary to fulfill the request.
4. Sensitive Document Warning

If your PDF contains strictly confidential, financial, medical (HIPAA), or legal information, we strongly advise using our Browser Processing tools and avoiding AI-powered features altogether.
